Spay-Neuter Services of
Indiana, Inc.
Spay-Neuter Services of Indiana, Inc. (SNSI) is the recipient of Hair Ball
proceeds. SNSI is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
Here
are some other things you should know about SNSI:
-
SNSI
consists of a board of volunteers. We work hard to provide affordable
surgery options and to stretch our dollars so we can fund as many
surgeries as possible.
-
Our
mission is to end pet overpopulation by providing financial spay/neuter
assistance to:
o
pet
owners in need (limited income individuals)
o
local groups, such as:
§
Animal
Care and Control (ACC)
§
Alliance
for Responsible Pet Ownership (ARPO)
§
Friends
of Indianapolis Dogs Outside (FIDO)
§

To get
surgeries done, SNSI works with the local low-cost, high volume clinics
(FACE and the new Low Cost Spay Neuter Clinic in Hamilton County) and
partner with various veterinarians in central Indiana. These
veterinarians graciously donate their services to do their part to put an
end to animal euthanasia. Surgeries are
scheduled at participating clinics.
-
Another aspect SNSI’s mission is educating the public about the benefits
of spaying and neutering pets. SNSI
also sponsors educational newspapers for grades K-6. These newspapers
emphasize concepts such as compassion, respect, and responsibility.
-
SNSI
provides financial assistance to pet owners and organizations in the
following Central Indiana counties: Boone, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks,
Johnson, Madison, Marion, Morgan, Shelby, and Tipton.
-
We are
financially supported through fundraising activities, donations, and
community support.
-
We’re
always looking for volunteers.
