The Hair Ball was started in 2005 by a group of friends who care about pet issues and wanted to give back to their community by hosting an afternoon of music, fabulous food and fun to raise needed funds.

Hair Ball 2005 was held at a private home with numerous donations from area businesses, food donations, generous volunteers and a wonderful band. 

The inaugural event was very successful and raised over $4,300 after expenses.  SNSI was able to provide more than 100 spay-neuters as a result of this fundraiser.

The Robert Irsay Charity Pavilion in Carmel generously donated their facilities for Hair Ball 2006, which raised $10,000 after expenses. SNSI was able to provide more than 250 spay-neuters as a result of this fundraiser! Click here to see a slide show from this fantastic event.

Once again, volunteers have come together to plan Hair Ball 2007.  Members of the 2007 Planning Committee include: Velda Boenitz, Chris Calvin, Ann Hedderick, Sarah Knies, Ann Long, Joe Loughmiller, Cheri Storms, Lisa Wagoner, and Lauren Walters.
