Spay-Neuter Services of Indiana, Inc. (SNSI)
receives 100% of the Hair Ball net proceeds. SNSI is a 501(c)(3) non-profit
organization that is
financially supported through fundraising activities, grants, and donations.
Here are some other things you should know about SNSI:
SNSI consists of an all-volunteer board of directors. We
provide affordable surgery options and stretch our dollars to
fund as many surgeries as possible.
Our mission is to end pet overpopulation by providing financial
spay/neuter assistance to pet owners with limited incomes and
local groups, such as: |
|
|
|
|
- Indianapolis Animal Care and Control (IACC)
- Alliance for Responsible Pet Ownership (ARPO)
- Cats Haven
- Feral Bureau of Indiana (FBI)
- Friends of Indianapolis Dogs Outside (FIDO)
- IndyFeral
- Indy Pit Crew
- Lawrence Animal Care & Control
- Southside Animal Shelter
|
SNSI works with the local low-cost, high volume clinics (FACE,
SPOT, and the Low Cost Spay Neuter Clinic in Hamilton County) and partners
with various private practice veterinarians. These veterinarians graciously
donate their services to end animal euthanasia.
Since our inception in 1977, SNSI has funded over 60,000
surgeries.
SNSI is a founding member of the new Indianapolis Animal
Welfare Alliance (IAWA). The Alliance consists of many of the
Indianapolis-based animal welfare groups and has a 10-year plan
to end euthanasia in Indianapolis. |
