We need your help to make the SNSI Hair Ball a success. Just a few hours of your time will help Spay-Neuter Services of Indiana assist our furry animal friends!

In appreciation of your time and effort, you will receive a free SNSI Hair Ball t-shirt. Volunteers will have ample time to shop the silent auction, place bids, and eat the wonderful food provided by local restaurants.

Positions needed on the day of the event include: appetizer service, food service, food preparation, silent auction monitor/circler, live auction monitor, fund-a-need assistance, floater, non-alcoholic beverage service, bar service (must have a valid Alcoholic Beverage Service license), t-shirt and Hair Ball glass sales, clipboard tabulator (assist guests in checkout line with adding winning bids), checkout runner (assist guest with collecting their winning items), and clean-up. Volunteers are also needed Friday September 30th to set-up the pavilion.

Volunteers are asked to arrive 15 minutes prior to their shift for orientation. Additional information will be provided once you’re on the volunteer roster.

Volunteer’s Agreement and Release from Liability

1.  Voluntary Participation

I acknowledge that I have voluntarily agreed to assist in the Spay-Neuter Services of Indiana, Inc. (“SNSI”) community outreach program (“program”), a program in which volunteers take spay/neuter information and education to the general public.

2.  Commitment of Responsible Stewardship

As a not-for-profit entity with limited financial resources, I recognize the need for SNSI to expect all volunteers to responsibly safeguard any SNSI property entrusted to them for their use while operating in a volunteer capacity. By agreeing to volunteer my time, energy and efforts to SNSI’s mission I commit to return, replace or pay replacement value for any SNSI equipment with which I have been entrusted. I additionally commit to returning, replacing or paying replacement value for entrusted items at any such time in the future that I cease to operate in a volunteer capacity for SNSI.

3.  Release

In consideration of the opportunity afforded me to assist in this program, I hereby agree that I, my assignees, heirs, guardians, and legal representatives, will not make a claim against SNSI, or any of its affiliated organizations, or either of their officers or directors collectively or individually, or the supplier of any materials or equipment that is used by the program, however caused, arising from my participation in the program. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, I hereby waive and release any rights, actions, or causes of action resulting from personal injury or death to me, or damage to my property, sustained in connection with my participation in the program. I further consent to the unrestricted use by SNSI and/or person(s) authorized by them of any photographs, recordings, interviews, videotapes, motion pictures, or similar visual recording of me.

In signing this waiver, I acknowledge that any animal can be unpredictable in its behavior and is capable of inflicting serious bodily harm.
